In Catania Sicily, on 27 January 2024 Giuliana Parisi won the WKU European K-1 Rules Thaiboxing 52,5kg title in the 3rd edition of Kumitevent. Giuliana always maintained the control of the fight and she landed very effective punches. Vagia Kitsou responded blow for blow but Parisi was more powerful and pressing. The Italian girl deserved to win the prestigious European WKU belt.
